Case Study: A Website Rebuild That Lifted Enquiries for a Klang Valley Property Agency

A property agency came to us converting visitors at well below industry average, despite paying for steady traffic through ads. Here’s what we found, what we changed, and what happened to their numbers.
The situation
The client, a residential property agency operating in the Klang Valley, had a website that looked reasonably polished but wasn’t translating traffic into enquiries. They were spending on Facebook and Google Ads to drive visitors to listing pages, but most people landed, browsed, and left without ever submitting an enquiry form.
Before the rebuild:
- Monthly website visitors: [X]
- Enquiry form submissions per month: [Y]
- Conversion rate: [Z]% (well below the 2–5% typical for local service/property sites)
What we found
A few issues came up repeatedly once we looked at how real visitors were actually behaving on the site:
- The enquiry form was buried. Visitors had to scroll past several sections of branding copy before reaching any way to contact the agency.
- Listing pages lacked a clear next step. Property details were well presented, but there was no obvious “enquire about this listing” action near the information that mattered such as price, location and availability.
- Mobile experience lagged behind desktop. Most traffic was mobile, but forms and buttons were sized and spaced for desktop use first.
- No trust signals near the point of decision. No agent photo, no “what happens after you enquire,” nothing reassuring a visitor who was a few seconds from filling in their contact details.
What we changed
- Moved a simplified enquiry form (name, phone, one qualifying question) directly onto every listing page, visible without scrolling
- Added a visible agent profile and response-time expectation next to the enquiry form
- Rebuilt the mobile layout with larger tap targets and a sticky “Enquire” button
- Simplified the overall page structure so visitors reached relevant property information faster
The result
After the rebuild:
- Monthly website visitors: [X] (traffic held steady, same ad spend, same campaigns)
- Enquiry form submissions per month: [Y2]
- Conversion rate: [Z2]%
- Estimated additional enquiries per month at no extra ad spend: [N]
The traffic didn’t change. The ad budget didn’t change. The only thing that changed was how easily an already-interested visitor could actually reach out, which is usually where the real leads were being lost all along.
